Recently, BTW secured an additional order for four 400kV autotransformers from the Greek national grid operator. With this latest order, the framework contract for 400kV autotransformers signed between the two parties has now been fully converted into executed orders.
Greece is the first European Union member state to join the Belt and Road Initiative. The Greek national grid operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the country's backbone transmission network. BTW signed a cooperation framework agreement with the Greek operator in 2024, under which 16 transformer supply contracts have been concluded and all have been successfully delivered. These transformers are now in operation at multiple 400kV substations across Greece, performing reliably and significantly enhancing the local grid's power supply capacity and operational stability. The placement of this new order fully demonstrates the Greek operator's high level of trust in BTW's product quality, delivery capability, and technical services.
BTW will, as always, strictly fulfill the terms of the contract, coordinateand managekey aspects including technology, production, quality assurance, logistics, and on-site installation. The company is fully committed to ensuring the high-quality and on-time delivery of these transformers, continuously reinforcing the brand image of "Made in China" in the high-end power equipment market of the European Union, making "Chinese equipment" a trustworthy international calling card, and contributing "China's strength" to the global energy transition.
