Recently, another 280MVA/400kV three-phase autotransformer independently developed by BTW was successfully energized and put into operation at the Amyntaio substation of the Greek national grid. This "power heart," now operating stably, will significantly enhance the power supply capacity and grid stability of the Amyntaio substation and the broader Western Macedonia region, providing a solid guarantee for the Greek national grid to cope with the summer electricity demand peak.As temperatures gradually rise, Greece enters its summer peak electricity consumption period. The stability of power supply is directly related to the quality of life of Greek citizens and the orderly operation of industrial production. The Amyntaio substation urgently required the transformers manufactured by BTW to be put into operation to withstand the challenges of summer load demands. BTW's Import and Export Company assembled an on-site installation task force, proactively addressing multiple challenges including cross-border operations, tight schedules, and complex on-site conditions. Racing against time, the team fully committed to meeting the project's construction needs.

In response to the local climate characteristics of frequent rainfall during the spring-summer transition, the task force established a weather response mechanism, dynamically adjusting construction plans based on weather forecasts to ensure that installation work was not interrupted by rain. Facing outdoor temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius on site, all team members battled the heat and worked tirelessly, advancing installation and commissioning tasks step by step. At the same time, they classified and prioritized various on-site issues, formulating special resolution plans to achieve seamless integration from on-site installation to energized operation, ensuring that the installation tasks were completed on schedule and with high quality.

The person in charge of the Amyntaio substation commented: "The professionalism and efficiency demonstrated by the Chinese team are truly impressive. This has filled us with confidence in both Chinese equipment and Chinese engineers."
